Vilamoura, Portugal - Late report, but we got word on a 1,000 + Blue Marlin released on July 8th. Capt. Tiago Palma on the Blue Shark released the fish.
We VERY much applaud the release of this fish.

You guys are so finiky!! He puts reports of granders on the dock and everyone bashes them for killing the fish. Now he post about a grander being released and you question the fishes weight!!

It is all about the source guys. If a professional marlin captain that we know, emails us and tells is it was 1,000+ we believe them. We don’t need and prefer not to know the exact weight.
