13.5X15 Stainless Prop needed (small hub Merc)

I’m in need of a 13.5X15 Stainless prop (small hub Merc), new or used in good condition. Anyone have one or know where I might find one?

i have a 25hp merc that takes that prop i think- i got a used SS with new hub from Skip’s propeller on cross county road (off dorchester) last year for a very good price. give him a call- the man knows blades.

Thanks for the heads up. I called the other prop shop (closer to my house). They couldn't tell me if they had a prop in stock and would have to call me back. I'm still waiting for that call. I sent them an email with all the information on my prop and.... still no response to my email.

I just got back with a new prop from Skips and he repacked the old one (for a spare) while I waited. Took him less than 5 minutes. He had several pops to choose from and the prices were better than on-line.

Glad you mentioned those guys. I’m back on the water!

I don't know what happened but, I still have heard NOTHING from my phone call and email to one of the other shops. Hate to be boatless when the fishing is so good. Thanks again for the heads up. My new prop works great. Tonight's red. (I don't like to pull them out of the water if I ain't going to eat them)

MAN, talk about instant gratification!

very glad that worked out for ya, thanks for sharing the fish pic!

I think this site is about helping people. That prop guy seems like a really helpful guy. Good people always know more good people.

one of the reasons i stick around here through all the BS… sometimes everything clicks and good people meet more good people!

I just spun the hub on my 55 yamaha, sounds like Skip is the guy to see. I’m right around the corner from his shop. Thought I’d ask here to get some straight advice. How much does he generally charge for pressing in new hubs?

I don't know how much it varies based on size. I bought a new 9.5X10 and had the old prop pressed. $35 for the press. They may have taken off a few dollars because of the additional purchase. They can tell you exactly, if you call. [/quote]

Skips props is the bomb! +1 for them.
Hard to get out of there less than an hour for all the chit chat with him and his wife. You’ll probably get a tour too!

haha, his wife rules that place with a small, iron fist!

nice people, he used to build mass spectrometers, decided he wanted to do something more fun and fulfilling. i’d say he’s making a positive difference for charleston boaters!
