13 year old Sheppard still has it.

With a little help from a friend. Been a bit since she has killed a possum, seems this cooler weather and some new joint health pills has Jessie wanting to train her protege. It’s a bummer to see such a good dog go down hill. She was 158lbs in her prime and is now down to 105. The only good thing about it is I can now smack my wife in the butt and not get bit, just barked at.

that would be shepherd.

I was not going to bring that up:imp: You may not believe this but the wife has it on the calander… 100+ possums. As for cats, she hates them to death literally. She’s been good and not killed a cat off our property, and I’ve told a couple of neighbors not to let their cats wander onto our property as our dog is not cat friendly.

Other than that the ducks, chickens, neighbors dogs, deer, squirrel and the mean mocking bird can eat out of her dish and she does nothing. She did kill a goose once, but then I didn’t mind and got rid of all of them as they got a habit of crapping all over the back porch.

Don’t worry Stono, no more cats and this possum must have been really slow. Poor girl can barely walk anymore.
