I went down to my dock this morning to do some trout fishing, but the motor won’t start. Plenty of fuel and oil and voltage. No fire I suspect. Any idea what might be the problem?

Seriously though, check all the battery connections, my perko switch gets quirky this time of year and sometimes needs to be rocked back and forth a little to get it working properly.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
Shifter not quite in neutral and neutral safety switch keeping it from cranking maybe. Rock the shifter around. Also check the kill switch lanyard.

Rocked it back and forth Larry. Back to neutral, turned the key and it would crank but the motor would not start. No kill switch lanyard on this motor. I used the boat day before yesterday and everything worked just fine. I got a tow and put it on the hill, took it to Matthews Marine in Bluffton. BOAT I suspect.
