Gave it to my brother in TX.
My oh my what a pretty whaler. My dad and I used to have one nearly identical to this one. Great boats, this will make a fantastic rig for someone.

Thanks, guys. I am pretty sad about selling it, but I have enjoyed it for the short time it was mine.

Well, not really but I would like to sell this boat soon. Make me a reasonable offer and we might have a deal. Thanks.

Guys, I fish out of this same hull and have caught a quadrillion fish in it. This is the kind of boat that you buy and hand down to your kids with the promise that they will never sell it! It floats in an honest 7" of water. Plus, it’s cool ![]()

Thanks, bud. I think I might end up giving it to my brother, then letting him give it back to me when I get back from overseas. But it would be simpler to sell it…

Lol I’ve never seen one of these situations end well, so if you do what you’re planning, have realllllllty low expectations. I don’t know anything about your brother, so please don’t misunderstand me there lol.
I know in my case, I’d sell this boat for half price before I did what you’re talking about, because inevitably you’ll have a couple thou$ in repairs of some sort when you get back anyhow.

You are correct. In my mind, I’m basically giving him a boat. If I get anything back it’s just a bonus.

Yep, very few business deals with family go as planned, or end well. You want to see trouble, rent to a relative. All is well, until they start to not be on time with the rent. Then they start to get other relatives to intervene and everyone takes sides. When you’ve had enough and have to evict them, the CHIT really hits the fan! Ask me how I know! That is a pretty little boat.

Much wisdom there. I wish I had something to offer you on it lol, but I just spent nearly that same amount of money on a new HVAC system on the house which unfortunately doesn’t catch fish.
If I may ask, what did you finish/clearcoat the bench seats with? They have a killer shine to them.

Nice little rig. My cousins had one like that when we were kids. They beat the heck out of it but it kept on going. If I had the cash I’d buy it for my son to use while he is down there at school.

Honestly, I don’t know. I bought the boat from the man that refurbished it.
