Nice morning run and we beat the sun to the GTH.
Sounder worked for all of 6 minutes.
Zman gear out in record time.
Planer tripped shortly after and 1st wahoo of the day was on.
Lost 6 mono rigged lures and another 5 or so fish came unbuttoned enroute to the boat.
Also had 1, 2 or 3 fish on for a short time but long enough to wrap several lines together. Scissor drill to follow.
Later in the day we started to see small schools of fish on the surface.
Ended up with:
3 wahoo (82.2, 33, 24)
3 bft (all on wire)
1 bronzefin tuna
also stopped for some orange & pink
(had some difficulty avoiding the black)
Noticed one boat landing a fish - odd outrigger configuration…I’ll bet it worked.

Yall had a hell of a day we were on our way broke a steering line about 20miles out had extra hyd oil on the boat filled the pump and headed back to charleston on a very flat ocean what a bummer oh well try again next time
