150 Yamaha Balancer Issue

I am curious how many out there have had a problem with this. I only ask because I noticed a little of the so called “sound” last time out while idling or running low rpm, it was not very loud.

I think I am going to have my shop take a look at the issue to make sure I don’t have a major problem. I might be paranoid.

Anyone had it done lately give me a ball park on the cost?

I did with my 2007 f150. There was a factory recall on some vins and I ended up with a new power head under warranty. Check with a yamaha dealer.

My two were replaced by Chris under warranty this spring -2006 motors

I just had mine replaced. Was not covered under a warranty (2005 motor). Yamaha dropped the cost by $150 or so because the were having problems with them. With labor it was around $550.
