XP21 Sea Hunt at 4000rpm reads out at 32.7 miles an hour and burning 7.3 GPH and 4.48MPG I guess that is pretty good?

Sounds dang good to me

Yep sounds real good

May be better because i burn Non Eth gas??? I will add ring free this week.

Stonoman

is that what you are getting or is that from the performance bulletin?

Found it on line? Have no clue what i really get.I have 6 hours on the motor.

Stonoman

you will likely NEVER see those numbers
you will be close, but ive never run a boat in the real world and got the numbers they do
mostly all the added weight from all the junk we pack in to every hatch on a boat, full fuel tanks, and t-tops

I agree.Hope to get at least 4mpg at 32mph.

Stonoman

Why the ring free in a 4 stroke?

Think it breaks up carbon??? Good for the motor?? That is what i heard.

Stonoman

I bet you’ll get better than 4 mpg @ cruise. I was getting 4.3 mpg @ cruise on a BX 22 w/ an F250B (3.3L motor not the new XCA). You should be able to get at least that with a decent prop.

I have the SS prop that came with the motor.i guess they put the best prop on don’t they??

Stonoman

does it say Apollo on it?

Stonoman

you need a bigger prop
you should top out at 6000

Got a 130HP Yamaha, 1989 model, on a 22’ cc, was wondering if anyone else may have a setup similar and could tell me what kind of fuel mileage they are getting?
