I’m selling my 1998 15Ft Sea Nymph (Drake Edition) boat powered by a 1998 OMC/Johnson 50Hp motor. The boat comes with the Long trailer. It is a side steering console with 2 rod holders, Lowrance X-4 Fish finder, Front and rear navigation lights, Bilge pump, Live well(new pump needed), Anchor, Side storage net, 3 seats, 2 Paddles and a New battery. How fast does that 50hp push it? I have a 1997 25hp Johnson on a very similar boat and have been thinking about putting a 40hp on it…just curious.

Almost to fast. I’ve never had to max it out. I would say the 40hp would be perfect.
