Sadly I’m selling the most efficient shallow water fishing boat I’ve ever been on. I built this boat, spent every night for weeks outfitting and rigging it to be the perfect low country redfish hunting vessel! This could easily be converted to an amazing duck boat, or even easier, it’d be a great gigging boat with the large front deck. Fly fishing is another possibility, put a casting platform or yeti on the front. Travels at 28-31mph with a light load and the a good tide. With two people, you’ll go 25-27mph.
I designed the boat to efficiently fish two people, but as my group of friends fishing expands, I have been fishing three people on board easily.
This is the reason I’m selling it, I wish I would’ve started with an 18’ or longer boat, but that’s why I’m selling this. Unfortunately, I’m not interested in trades.
I’ve often said that this is an over-engineered jon boat. It goes in 6" of water or less. The wide open cargo area allows for easy clean storage of 6 rods stored horizontally out of the way. The Cajun anchor allows you quickly anchor in water under 10’ drop.

What is included:
-2013 (purchased NEW doom Seels in mt pleasant 4/2015) alumacraft 1648 mv (16 foot, 48 wide, modified vee hull). Very stable. Dry, no leaks! Two cushioned seats, wide open deck allowing storage of crab pots. Yes it’s riveted, it’s solid with no issues. Front and rear upper deck is welded. ($2200 new).
-2015 suzuki 30hp (DF30ATHL) fuel injected outboard with power tilt, push button start and a stator that charges the battery, with a little over 200 hours on it. Extremely fuel efficient!!! Uses very little gas, has a 6gal tank, usually only uses 1-2 gallons of gas each outing (12-15 miles per trip,always have used ethanol free fuel). ($4500 new)
