I’m looking for a good reliable used 17-18 ft center console to fish the local waters for reds, trout etc. There are 3 that caught my eye, one is an 18 ft Sea Pro, one is a 198 DLV Carolina Skiff and the other is a 19 ft Key Largo. Any advice? Thans
I have the 180 sea pro with a 115 yamaha…I love that boat to no end. It draws 12 inches of water and handles seas pretty well. Its a light boat making for easy trailering, launching etc. It handles very well also. Would highly reccomend it

Either sea pro or Carolina skiff, they are both really reliable boats with quite reasonable prices.

Those are all good, solid boats. If you really can’t decide between the 3 then I’d go with whichever has the best powerplant. 4 stroke over a 2 stroke could make the decision easy.
for inshore, of the 3 you listed, i would pick the carolina skiff as long as the motor is good

Have you considered Pioneer, Key West, or Sea Hunt. Could add tidewater to that list. All made in SC. I own my second pioneer and have friends with Sea Hunt and Key West. All fine offerings and with models in the 17-18 foot range.
