2002 Hull and motor on an aluminum trailer. Boat and deck are solid and the motor runs well. Had the fuel tank emptied and cleaned in 2016, replaced leaf springs 2016, new bearings and buddy bearings last year, new tires this year. New bilge pump gets her Friday and I’ll get it installed soon after. 32 gal tank.
We’ve gotten plenty of use of of this boat, everything from putting around the rivers with the kids to running her out to the 60 a few times. It comes with a boat cover, a big tube and ski rope, some bumpers, lowrance elite 5 hdi, life jackets, fire extinguisher, some lengths of good anchor line but no anchor. Sadly lost it on last trip But we may go out a few times until it sells so if I get a new one it’ll get included. She’s a 2002 but cleans up like an 06. She’s 17’ but handles like s 19’, been a good boat for us.
I live on the Air base in North Charleston and it’s in my garage where I take the grab bar off to make her fit. If you’d like to see it, let me know and I can meet you at gate to bring you on, it’s easy. Also, out of curiosity I weighed her once at a CAT Scales and I have the weights at work if anyone is interested. Water trial at Leeds Ave if serious. Thanks for looking. Now, wish me luck with getting the pics up.
Unless there are a ton of hours on that motor I think your selling yourself short. Unless there is something else going on with the boat your didn’t mention??
I’m 2nd owner, the Yamaha thing reads <300 hrs. Looking at comps online, I thought a fair price. I’m trying to sell a boat when the forecast is calling for 50 degree temps tomorrow… in SC… it says “obo” so I’ll gladly take more.
Also, I replaced the water pump and housing in the spring. Foot oil done each season.
Also, fuel line was replaced with the new standard hose. Ethanol free gas from spynx on Ashley P and the one on rivers exclusively. Yamaha ring free and sea foam stabilizer always used. Comes w almost a gallon of oil.
I’ve actually been monitoring your post on CL and have been surprised it hasn’t sold. I have the 2003 SV1700 for sale at 8700 just to see if I got any interest…got about 5 people to come out and look at it but nothing serious. Yes it’s a high price but I’m not in a rush to sell b/c I still use it instead of my 21’ boat.
I would recommend putting it back up in the spring and it will sell for more than 7k if you can wait. There’s no reason it shouldn’t sell for 7k unless there’s something glaring wrong with it.
Thanks for the input.
I’m moving in May, overseas, and have a house to sell, a truck, and about a million other BS items. Figured I’d start with the boat.
I thought I had a buyer lined up the first week and agreedto hold it a week for him. Oh well.
Good luck w your boat!
