I had to do something after my motor crapped out on me, so I decided to give the old boat a face lift. Here is a list of things I will be doing to the boat.
- Re-power with a new to me Suzuki 115 with 400 hrs
- Re-wire all accessories
- Paint hull with Awlgrip, ice blue color
- Wet sand and buff everything from the rub rail up.
Here are some before pics… a little late as I have already begun prepping for new motor and paint. I will post progress as I go.

Looking forward to seeing how she turns out. When I saw the first photo, I thought “Man, he needs a new rubrail. That blue one is ugly.” Then I noticed that your rubrail was covered in painter’s tape.
If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.
So the boat is finally finished. Took a little longer than I had hoped but she is ready for the season. Here are some after pics.
