maybe more details would be appropriate: this engine runs well, with the exception a slipping lower unit (slips out and back into gear). I thought it was the clutch dog. Duke’s Marine told me that it was definitely the gears and that it would be just as cheap to get a used lower unit as it would be to replace the gears. He put a used lower unit on it and the problem still exist. I plan to re-power and move on. I have no need for this engine. It would be great for someone who either has mechanical experience with similar engines and could repair it or for someone interested in parting it out. I would like a .22 rimfire rifle. please email for more detail/pictures mjw4105@gmail.com

he’s being modest- that seahorse runs incredibly well.
a gearhead with an eye for classics needs to contact him- the slipping is the ONLY issue with this motor.
