I pulled it out of a back yard and got it running. It’s got a new water pump impeller, new charging kit (rectifier, stator, circuit block), new starter, new hydrofoil thing, and new transom mount bolts. I cleaned the carb, replaced fuel filter, replaced fuel lines, changed the plugs, cleaned the cylinders and replaced the head with a used head in good shape and replaced the power pack with a strong used one (not pretty but is in good working order). I changed the lower unit oil and the old oil still looked good. It’s got a nice stainless steel prop and has an electric starting kit. The compression is solid and there’s not much difference in the psi of the two cylinders. I’d have to put the tester back on to get #s as I do not remember what it was at.
I’m selling because I’m moving to the keys to run boats and can’t take my little boat. I’d rather not have to deal with storing it and getting it running when I get home in the fall, if I come back.
I want $1100 for it as it’s a great running motor and will haul ass. I’m pretty firm on that as it will not take too much to put it up in the shed and mess with it when I get home.
I can include a brand new West Marine Starting Battery as well.
