If any one can give me any help motor ran strong but all of sudden very low compression. When the plugs are in it fights to even turn the flywheel but when the plugs are out free spins fine like it should to crank up. What the hell is going on? suzuki says its the stator but the spark is fine. Any help would be great I want to use the boat.
took it that if the plugs where in that if the flywheel did’nt turn that well it was low compression. As I stated when the plugs out it turns fine the flywheel that is . Battery is brandk new and fully charged its not the battery. I am frustrated to say the least.
You don’t have gas flooding the cylinders do you?

no gas line is hooked to the engine and no gas in the carbs.
sounds to me like you have a bad starter or low voltage to the starter
when the plugs are installed, it is hard to start, its because you HAVE compression that it gets hard to turn.

Exactly what Chris said. The engine is easy to turn with the plugs removed because you have no compression. With plugs in, it should be hard to turn…if it is easy with plugs in, thats bad. Check battery voltage.

Make sure that your battery connections are tight. I had the same issue the other day. Thought I had starter issues for a bit. But when I checked the battery terminals, the ground had come a little loose. Might be an easy fix like mine was.
