1996 key west 1720 sportsman with 1996 Yamaha C75. Key west self-bailing hull with NO wood and NO soft spots. This year the console was removed and completely redone. I fiberglassed in all holes with the exception of the steering wheel and speedo and recut new holes for the gauges and stereo. Brand new gauges, stereo, switches and Yamaha 704 binnacle box. I removed the cooler from inside the front seat and relocated the battery and added two more. I have rewired the entire boat with the exception of the harness from the motor. The batteries are wired that one is a dedicated cranking battery and the other two are for house loads. The house batteries are configured so that one deep cycle battery feeds all 12v loads and the two batteries are in series for the 24v minn Kota saltwater 80lb trolling motor. Everything is wired through a dual circuit battery switch and the house loads go through a fuse block and the trolling motor has an inline breaker to protect the equipment. I also have an automatic charge relay that I have not yet wired into the system that is designed to automatically charge all batteries from the outboard when voltage drops to a specified value. The gauges are new faria gauges but have not yet been wired up. The stereo is a new boss audio stereo with Bluetooth and boss audio speakers. There is a humminbird helix 5 si fish finder/gps combo with transducer. While I had the center console off I replaced all fuel lines including the fill hose and vent with new filler neck. The tank was also pressure tested to 1.5 pounds to ensure no leaks in the tank. I do not know the exact capacity of the tank, the previous owner told me 22gal and I have just gone with that. The motor is a 2 stroke Yamaha C75. I have replaced the lower gear oil and water pump along with the lower seals. The trim motor has also just been replaced as it went out on me last week.

that thing will never float

I would be upside down on that one.
