Price reduced to $8500! I need this boat gone!
I hate to sell it, but it’s time for my bay boat to go. She’s a 1998 McKee Custom, made by the McKee brother that makes the Henry O boats (I’m sure you will recognize the bow design). The motor is a 1999 Mercury 150 Bluewater that starts quickly and runs great!
The deck was redone recently (I think about 5 yrs ago, I have the receipt) – it looks good and is rock solid. I think it was finished with either Imron or Alexseal. I’ll check when I get home from work and update this ad. It is a light grey with black splatter paint, like the inside of a Carolina Skiff. I will try to get some interior pictures soon.
There are dual batteries with a selector switch under the console, which is large enough to sit in.
It’s got a new Stryker T-top, with custom reinforcements by Marc at Carolina Custom Rigging.
Swing-out Taco Grand Slam outrigger mounts go through aluminum plates in the T-top, with telescoping outrigger poles.
The boat comes with a Garmin GPSMAP 440s, a VHF radio (don’t remember the brand name right now), an aluminum leaning post, and a nice boat cover that secures up underneath the T-top.
The trailer is a newer (probably 5 years old, but only 2 seasons of actual use) aluminum trailer that handles the boat very well. In fact, it might be a little large for the boat, although the boat is balanced well.
The previous owner has had the boat far offshore, but I haven’t taken it past the Charleston 60. She runs well and is built solid enough to do whatever you want, but is still a great inshore boat – easy to launch and fish from, and the transom design gives you plenty of room to fish around the stern. I am downsizing to a flats boat, so I don’t need a boat that can handle the rough stuff anymore.
I’m sure I’m forgetting all sorts of things, so please let me know if you have any questions. Asking $8500 obo. Also would consider a trade (or partial trade) for flats boat.
