1KW Transducer Worth $?

For fishing some in 50-100’ (rarely deeper), is it worth the extra $ for 1KW versus 600W transducer? Some say, with dirty Charleston water, its needed; others say overkill.

I’ve narrowed it down to three choices, all through-hull: B75M @$660, B175M @ $850, or maybe new B175 Wide, which is about $1200. Experts are raving about how the new Wide will have a great cone angle, much wider-see more fish, uses high frequency-more details…but is it worth it?

Fyi, I will have CHIRP in any scenario.
