1st Bushy Slam!! W/Pix

Hey Guys. I hit bushy park today and FINALLY got my slam and my 1st Red! Well it was about 14 inches and didn’t fight real hard but it was my first spottail! The first fish of the day was a MASSIVE blue cat on a chunk of mullet, then I nabbed a few trout, 12", 15.25", and about 10", a couple of Flounder, 12", 14" and my first Red about 14". The blue cat was about 40+ and had to be over 25 pounds. Holy crap I was kinda scared at first trying to figure out what to do with a fish that big in my yak :wink: but I managed. I met up with Cutmullet and we hit Spottail creek, man I love that place :smiley: I also was treated to the sight of a bald eagle flying over my head. Lots of fish, great day off and saw an eagle… it was a good day tater! Enjoy the pix!

You sound scaired I am gonna wipe out redfishville there stinky:wink: I thought the tourney was at redfishville??? I know where the reds are in Spottail creek but getting them on my rod is another story :wink: I don’t have them as well trained as Cutmullet and Bluefish :smiley: Besides I haven’t fished Redfishville yet and want to see what all the hoopla is about. Don’t worry stinky… I am a catch and release guy, unless its a nice big flattie :wink:
