1st Red and 1st Flounder OTF!

I had 2 1sts on Sunday by landing (not just hooking) my 1st Red and 1st flounder. I had a break off wading the flats a couple months ago in the grass and numerous other unsuccessful shots since at tailers and cruisers but the clear water drifting and sight fishing turned out to be what I needed to get the monkey off my back!

Caught both on start of incoming Sunday morning. I was fishing solo and left my camera in the truck by accident so I’m stuck without a pick with my spotty with rod in mouth (no jokes please! ha).

Spent the next hour trying to find a trout in some usual honey holes to complete the OTF slam but no luck!

yea as you can see, flat boy wasn’t shy with that copperhead fly at all!
that was definitely a surprise for me when I was stripping him in.
