1st timer to Copahee

Heading there on Monday and would like a little advice , i know about not being caught out there at low tide but high tide is around 07:00 so i should be ok as far as that. Any issues with people messing with your truck while it is parked at the landing , when heading out should i stay in the creeks or fish the grass , any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I’ve never had any issues there with vehicles. Try fishing along the grass - that has always been my best tactic. Good luck!

The only red I have caught so far was at Copahee and I was fishing in the grass with a frozen shrimp. Unfortunately as soon as the red got to the side of my kayak it managed to get off the hook so I didn’t actually land it, but the fight was amazing! I hope you have much better luck!
