Bugcatcher woke me up around 6 this morning to go attempt to catch something we could keep. Left out in the fog around 7 and headed to the spot. Took about an hour or so to get around the bsbs but finally got on the spot. Cleaned 13 sheeps and threw back about that many or more.
Nice fish. Next time it looks like it will be with circle hooks.

Thanks for the invite Jeff, got a lot more rehab to go before taking on the Tuna next month in Venice! Hard to beleave a 8/9lb sheep put a hurtin on my shoulder like that. What hurts more is the thumb that the sheep fin stabbed under my nail to the nail bed! OUCH, been on the crown all night and it ain’t helping. Had a great time today.
(be tough to catch me with a J hook, rules like thease will turn me into a criminal, love a circle hook, just unnecessary for sheeps and triggers)

Surprised you caught any bsb since they are so endangered. First I’ve heard of the circle hooks. Unbelievable…these assholes are out of control

Nice catch! Was it rough? It was a bit windy out on Sudnay. I almost went Sunday afternoon, but had a very late start so ended up staying inshore.

The ride out was nice but you could only see about 50 yards. The ride home was a little bumpy. We only fished till about 12:30 so it wasn’t too bad. Didn’t have to put the curtains down.
