Looked at the weather and saw a break in the wind between 5 and 10. I took my leftover bait from saturday and headed to the dam after work. Searched around yacht cove and around the mouth of jakes and didn’t see any signs of life. Dropped in at the towers and pulled marked a few fish. It was a beautiful night, warm with barely any wind. The lake was like glass. The wind kicked up right on schedule at 9:30 and I left. Fishing was slow, got three shorts. On a positive not I only missed two short strikes.
Nice pics Tom… How does a brother get hooked up on one of these guided evening trips? LOL Did you mark any fish near the swim beach at all? I rode by there the other night and saw a few boats posted up there
I did mark some fish hugging the bottom on the 30 to 40 foot humps, looked like perch so I didn’t drop lines. Only requirement is bring your own beer, split expenses and be a Steeler’s fan. I might go tomorrow after work if I can get a pass. I will get bait at lunch and launch from #4 around 5:30/5:45. I will PM you my phone number if you want to go.
