Yes. And this was less than ideal time of year and conditions…

I can take you to several places that are the same off Charleston. Literally hundreds of these fish- not juveniles by any means at all. These are in divable and easily fished depths, mind you. The snapper are even larger out in deep water where they’ve been naturally protected and basically undocumented (except for fishermen’s accounts and what sound scientific judgment dictate) for years.
