We fished all the spots I have from 60’-100’ and only brought home about 25 bass.
was slow and patchy for us too…except for these fellows who seemed to be everywhere
caught at least 30 of them today…and all the bsb we caught were pretty small…
saw marine patrol going out this morning and then they were counting pages in their ticket books in the parking lot when we came in…glad our name wasnt on any of those pages:slightly_smiling_face:…but they are just doing their job and have always been very nice when we have been checked…although I did get stopped by one once and he asked me…“you by yourself?”…and I told him…well my husband was with me but was being a little mouthy so I knocked him out…he looked a little caught off gaurd and then laughed like crazy and said…should I check the fish box for him then?..lol…

We passed the man on the way in checking another boat and when we got to the boat landing there was one waiting for us as well.
Thanks for the ride Jeff. It was an enjoyable day despite the smaller then usual catch. There is always next time.
2/8 was worse. We made it about 8 or 9 miles out and decided to turn around. We certainly could have made it out, but the period was small and with projected worse weather coming our way, the crew and I decided that it would be better to fish another day and headed back towards Chucktown. Goofed around at the nearshore only to find tiny BSB for an hour or so with 10 other boats who didn’t chance it (Including Haz) and then came inshore to find a few unproductive spots. Pulled the boat out of the water at 1 and called it an early day.
We missed you Penny at the Cut. It was good to get out and run the boat though.

i guess i’m glad we weren’t able to make it on 2/8 if it was that bad out there. couldn’t keep the motor running at the dock. i think another bad fuel pump. i’ll never own another 4 stroke. this is the fourth time i’ve had to cancel because of fuel/pump problems.
it’s tough being a gamecock fan!
Penny, you should do “Saturday at the Cut”. That is one of the reports I look forward to the most on the site.
