2-Day Quickie Report. PIC HEAVY!

I managed to sneak out for a couple hours yesterday and today.

Yesterday I put in at Cypress Gardens landing and cruised down towards Bushy Park on the freshwater side.

Got out late, fought the wind, tried new places, new lures, etc.

Basically, I was just glad to be out and ride a little, fish some and take a few pictures.

Caught some little bass and then this 21" striper comes along and about yanked the rod out of my hand. He was serious!

Went back out this afternoon to the saltwater side and came upon this fellow(28")in the most unlikely of places. Just a little creek/ditch that I decided to try because I figured no one else had. It paid off.

And, he has a tag!

More pics…

Um, who is leaving all the boats/artificial reefs at Bushy Park, on the freshwater side? I thought folks were responsible to remove their abandoned/salvaged boats. Maybe I’m wrong?

Anyways, some wildlife and scenic…

Birds.

Angry/mysterious sky.

Moonlight through the tree.

My nice new(old) shiny, clean boat. Thanks to Loopervet and the crew!

Hey bigt7mm;
great pics and nice fish , but I especially like the sky/cloud
shot, I can see in my imagination the image of what looks like
a loon type bird in center right of pic.:sunglasses::sunglasses:

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Great pics! I like the moon through the trees the best. You need to be throwing those jigs in heavy timber. No way they should have lasted that long :). Next time I see ya I’ll replenish your supply

Thanks, and me, too.

I only use these jigs. Just haven’t been out much.

I’ve seen you out there a few times. I don’t like to be a pest.

great pics. looks like good times!

Thanks!

I just noticed the turtle next to the gator.

Looks like two turtles in the first pic are looking over at him, saying, “Dude, that’s not a log!”

Kinda made me chuckle.

That turtle in the second pic looked like a gator already nipped it on the back side. Was that ■■■■■ of coots between the landing and the bridge at cypress gardens?

They are all over right now.

These were near the SCE&G power lines.

I think that is a red leaf on the turtle’s behind. At least, I hope it is for his sake…
