2 - 4 year old Shimano 80WA Tiagra’s. They have not been used in 2 years and been sitting in a box. Both reels are in excellent shape with only minor cosmetic scratches. Just need a little once over and should be great to go! They have always been serviced at Haddrell’s in West Ashley and Scott can confirm how meticulous I am with maintaining my tackle. Sold.

I need a couple of 80W but these appear to have the old style handles. Do they have new or old? New style came out in 2006 (if I recall correctly) which would mean these would have new style handles if they are only 4 years old. If these reels have old handles they are at least 10 years old.

I have received several inquiries with regards to Lake Murray Vipers post. So long story short. I bought 4 of 6 reels from my neighbor back in January of 2012 new in the box. He retired to SC in 2008 from the shore of NJ. He owned a tackle store on the shore, closed it and moved here to fish. Unfortunately his health deteriiated and could never fish. So he sold me several new reels that he kept from when he closed his store that he brought down to use but never did. If you want new handles they can be bought for around $100.00 from any Shimano parts dealers. Just need to make sure you order the arm. I didn’t mean to stir up anything but needed a couple more 50’s and when I saw this add started considering these 80’s and just wanted to verify they weren’t considerably older. The seller quickly explained the situation and was very open answering any questions. In the end I need 50’s over 80’s for what I’m going to use them for but if I were going to buy 80’s I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these before they are gone. Good luck with the sale!!!

Update: I have had several inquiries for selling just one reel. I prefer to sell the pair so I am pretty firm on selling individual reels at $600.00 but I am willing to negotiate on the pair.803-446-2724

It’s all good Driver27. It’s not over yet. He’s just contemplating a few things. Will see soon though. To be completely honest, I am surprised they are still here too.
