200 year rain brings the harbor to you

Since I’m stuck at home and the police blocked off all the roads by my house downtown I decided to test out my new rain gear and go exploring on my mountain bike. I helped push a stalled BMW out of 1.5’ of water and saw two more BMWs stuck in the same area. I’m guessing their electronics or the air intake are very low on the 3 and 5 series.
It was actually quite fun with the waves crashing over the battery and most sea walls. I do feel bad for anyone that owns a floating dock or keeps their boat in the water. It looked like most boats and docks were taking a beat down. I saw some walkways for floating docks that were raised up backwards to the point of causing damage.

Don’t park so close to the salt water:

Thanks for the pix

Well done, stay safe.

It looks like this 2nd tide is going to be way worse than the one earlier today. I’m seeing flood waters in areas that were fine at high tide earlier today and we are 3 hours out from high tide right now. I hope people moved their cars.
