Anybody have any input on Sea Era boats? I’m thinking about buying this one but don’t know to much about it. Any input would be appreciated.
Sea Era became Sea Fox, some people would poo poo it for that reason alone, but if the price is right and if the transom/deck are in good shape I would give it equal consideration to any other brand of that vintage.
Sea Era was a spinoff of Legacy which was a spinoff of Renken…very poorly made…spent ALOT of time repairing/helping one my buddies keep his Sea Era 220 “afloat”…cheap through hulls almost sunk that boat three times…thin fiberglass, no weight, and NOTHING was through bolted…steer clear unless you are getting it for WELL below market value
Southern Comfort
Thanks for the advise. I googles this particular model boat and it seems to get the same horrible reviews. I will be looking elsewhere for an aluminum boat instead.
