I seem to be have intermittent starting issues. I took the boat out yesterday and ran it for 5 hours no issues. Turned the motor off and when I tried to start it back up nothing. I can hear the motor getting power and then when I try and crank it nothing. After I turn the key back I get some clicking noise kind of like when your battery is to low to kick the starter over. So I let it set for a little while and try it again and it starts. I have checked the fuses and for any corrosion don’t seem to see any. Any one have a clue they could through my way?
Thanks for any help.
Your running tri-s where is the terminals coming in to for that motor.Thats where I would check first probably something loose on the battery or you have one going bad and the others are charging it just enough to start.

If it’s anything like the yamaha 225 4 stroke, that clicking noise is the idle air control valve and is perfectly normal. Usually you don’t hear it click b/c your motor starts right up.
it’s tough being a gamecock fan!
It seems to be the relay before the starter. It has power on one side of the relay but nothing on the other side. Any one have any idea were I can get one of these for a resonable price?
