Had an oil leak on my 25 HP Yamaha four cycle.
After a little searching and removing parts,I found oil
Was leaking from the Piston Balance cover area. After removing
the cover I found medal shavings and what appears to be a
very small piece of piston ring ? Any thoughts or comments ? Thanks
if you found pieces of hard parts in the motor, it will be very costly to repair.
you will be better off to find a good used motor.
even if you do the labor yourself, the parts and machine shop fees will cost as much as the motor is worth.
