2006 Donzi 23 AMH - Twin Verado 225s

Donzi 23ZF AMH
Year: 2006
Current Price: US$ 33,000 obo
Located in Orangeburg SC

Equipment:

Twin 225 Verados Port ~1023 hrs Starboard ~1500 hrs (need to check)
American Aluminum Trailer. In good shape, and pulls extremely well. It is setup for this boat, but could accommodate a much larger boat on it.
Shockwave 8 Helm Seat (pretty darn cool) with second leaning post.
Fully Automated Spot Light with remote.
ICOM VHF
Stereo FM/AM/MP3
Lenco trim tabs
21P Mercury Tempest Props
Hummingbird 898 GPS
140 gallon tank

Cruise is 36-38 MPH burning 1.7/1.8mpg. Top is 62-65mph. Different loads and props give different results. If I was going to fish it, I would play with the props, and try to prop it for a heavier load, but it isn’t bad now.

The boat is was previously a Department of Conservation boat out of Missouri. It has been a fresh water boat for nearly all its life, except for 3-4 trips. The midrange acceleration on this boat is stupid. You literally have to hold on.

Not a Bristol boat, but she is super fun and absolutely one that can be made to be an small offshore boat, or a lake boat, or whatever you would like.

The only mechanical issue with the boat is the Verado Power steering. Apparently the steering pump is bad. The boat steering is still usable, just not ideal. The pump is located in the bilge, as a lot of the earlier Verados were, and if I kept it, I would move it to the console. I figure I will let the new owner make that call. It’s about a $1000 for a pump either way.

I purchased it to use putting around, until my 35 Bertram sold. I sold the Bertram and purchased a 36 Palmetto off of this site, and just will not be able to use the boat.

Titles for motors, boat, and trailer in hand
