I fished it. Very tough conditions. High winds & high water prevented us from being able to effectively fish the spots we had planned out. We didn’t catch a fish the entire day. Didn’t stick around for the weigh in. Talked to a few who also said they had a tough day on the water also. Some were able to find them in sheltered area though.

I figured it would be tough with that honkin wind. this has been a tough week of fishing with all that NE wind, big tides, back side of the moon and i feel like the fish are in their transition phases right now.

Radaddy (Ron Davis) and his son Caleb finished in second place. Great job. I’ll post top 5 when I get it.

Congrats to Shane and Chuck Lather on the win. Those guys are just flat-out GOOD. That makes either 3 or 4 wins for that team in combined IFA & LCRC tourneys in the last few years. The final results should get posted today or Monday. Conditions were brutal, but we rotated between 3 schools that were SEMI-protected. We caught 14 reds on the day, with only 3 being in the slot. All others were 23.5-27 inches. Caleb was able to bring in the 2 weighable fish which I could’t be happier about. This was our first LCRC event, and it was run very smoothly and efficiently. The tournament committee allowed any team to back out with no penalties because of rough weather ( a few did) which I thought was awesome. We’ll be back for the remaining 2 events.

Congrats. Sounds like the weather was brutal!!
