I’ll let you know when I find out what time my folks want us over on Thursday. I’ve never fished a Turkey Derby but would like to join yall. Acapulco is a 35 minute drive, plus I have to take into account showering, changing clothes and getting to the family gathering. Time is tight.

We don’t have to be anywhere until 1; so count me in!

Just make sure there is enough ramp for the larger boats there. A friend’s bass boat gave him fits getting it back on the trailer last weekend. Might just be the way his trailer is configured. The water is still dropping. Anyone know exactly how much further it is intended to go?

The current elevation is 351.50 feet, so another foot and a half to go!

I launched there Saturday with no problems.

“My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.”

Friend put in there Sat little tricky but it worked.

Unfortunately I cannot fish in the Turkey tourney in the morning but you guys be real careful tomorrow, especially at the ramps. Looks like it will be in the twenties tonight which may mean “very slippery” ramps and boats. I don’t the mind the cold as you know, but it is definitely going to be chilly and possibly slick in spots. Don’t worry about getting ice for the cooler. Good luck and have fun…
