</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>while the food is good and in past years the weather has been nice, putting faces with names, getting to know them, making new friends and visiting with old friends is the most fun part of this whole oyster roast…I’m looking forward to it too!

Do what I do. Grab whatever dish Penny brings and just write your name on it…
I want in! (Plus one.)
At work we have used http://www.perfectpotluck.com/index.php to keep track of who brings what, the ‘password’ is not really secret so everyone can just add what they want.
I can bring whatever, I have a good pecan cornbread recipe, “Palmetto Macaroni and Cheese” (Pimento taste to it.)
I would be glad to add another bushel, but worried ya’ll may have too many already.
Stonoman can vouch for me … well, I hope he can.

oysters will depend on the head count, which is why I like to start early advertising this event and encourage people to at least verbally commit…don’t remember how many bushels we had the last few years, but I don’t think we have ever run out…and yes, your cornbread and mac and cheese sounds like it will fit in perfectly!
