Sunday worked out better for more people than Saturday and works out better for me this year. Thinking about Sunday morning 10/11.
Would be artificials only. Casting and/or jigging.
NO: live bait, cut bait, trolling, electrical shock devices, longlining, gigging or concussion grenades…etc

I’m interested. The MSC tournament will be the following Saturday, the 17th and we’ll be using live bait then, but I’d still be able to get good info that Sunday by fishing artificials.

After talking to a few people about it, I felt like we’d get a better turnout with bait as that’s what most want to fish with. That still leaves the option for topwater and/or spoons for anyone that wants to. It’s only a 1 fish/person weigh in, so live bait is not necessarily an advantage over jigging a big spoon or throwing your favorite topwater bait into some schooling fish.

Ahhhh, the annual turnover tournament. You are the only person i know of that can control a lakes turnover. Bummed I’m missing it. Looks like I came down a few weeks early.
