Team Well Hung takes 1st place in the 2017 DNR Open Tournament.
Midlands Striper Club held its 2017 DNR Open Tournament out of Dreher Island, SC on May 20, 2017. Twenty-eight teams participated in the 2017 DNR Open.
The MSC DNR Open results are as follows:
Finishing in first place with a total weight of 17.92 pounds was team Well Hung captained by Jason Tarlton along with Brett McDowell, Chad Mims, and Jacob Black.
Finishing in second place with a total weight of 17.46 pounds was team Trophy ridge captained by Danny Kimble along with RJ Burk.
Finishing in third place with a total weight of 17.39 pounds was team Knot IV Shore captained by Wayne Condrey along with Tom Hartman from Columbia, SC.
Finishing in fourth place with a total weight of 17.18 pounds was team Knot IV Reel captained by JD Humphrey along with Joey Harmon.
Finishing in fifth place with a total weight of 16.76 pounds was team Landlocked captained by Richy Brensinger along with Joey Smoak and Wayne Bell.
First Big Fish went to team Trophy Ridge with a 9.69-pound striper.
Second Big Fish went to team Next Time with a 9.25-pound striper.
