I know it’s a little early but I wanted to get a post going on the youth tournament. The event is coming up on July 15th. I’d love for this to be our biggest event to date but will need everyone’s help to make that happen. Bring extended family or a relative if you want. It’s all about the experience and helping to foster the next generation of fishing boys and girls.
As usual, we will be fishing out of Dreher Island using the half day format. There will be food at the shelter between the lines out time and the weigh in. Unfortunately, Holy Smoke will not be able to cook for us this year so the plan is to have pizza, cake and drinks brought in. Trophies will be awarded in two age groups so we will be giving a lot of hardware to the kids to take home. We ask that one raffle prize be brought in per participant. A roughly $10 value is a good rule of thumb. All prizes will be raffled off the day of the event.
