Thank you sir. I sent you my email address.
Thank you for the video. I appreciate it.
I’ve only ever had galvanized trailers. What will saltwater do to that one?
Best of luck to you Billy.
Your choice of friends shows your character. We all have our own battles and sorrows.
It helps to have a few great friends during our challenges.
I did some research on that and powder coating offers decent protection against rust. The 2 times I put the boat in the inlet i was anal about rinsing the trailer, there’s a car wash a mile from the ramp. Will saltwater eventually cause problems,i’m sure it will somewhere down the road.Maybe others will have experience on here with powder coating but I think promptly rinsing would be key to trailer life.To be honest I’m just not sure.
Had a bunch of gliterboats through the years that had steel trailers that visited the salt more than fresh water. Never really had a problem, just normal spring rust like the galvanized ones until they hit about 12 years. Then you start seeing the steps getting some rust pin holes and such. I always fully submerged them on the way home in the combahee and still rinsed when home.
Sorry to hear about the cancer thing Billymac. That should sell fast at that price. wish you a speedy recovery!!
