21 SPOTS - UDC - 9/15/2011

Started out slow on the outgoing tide. When it turned, Andy hooked up with this 33" Spottail with 21 spots. They caught a couple of Trout and several small Spottails.

All caught on live Shrimp.

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>Do you count that big spot on the tail as one big incomplete spot of two smaller misshapen spots.

Great looking fish.

I’m not sure why, but I’ve always loved a red with extra spots. Good stuff.

beautiful fish. Are you fishing those live shrimp under a cork?

Agreed. I think 7 was the most I ever caught one with. Makes a cool fish cooler.

Good job UDC. Shrimp is definitely on the menu for reds.

Nice looking fish! I wish I caught more of those crazy cheetah looking fish. I may have posted this one a few years back but this fish was filled with spots. Had them on both sides like this!

According to the biologists, it would count as 2 if not touching.

No, I don’t use a cork. Fish on a Carolina rig.

My fish with the most spots to date is 66. And, yes, I did count them all.
