Wal-Mart had but sold out this morning of Remington 50’s for $2.17 limit 3.

ATP had a pretty good stock of everything, just limits on .22LR and 9mm.

There goes any reason for getting a conversion kit.

Atp is garbage. Their price on those same .22 cci 100 round packs less than a week ago was 8.99. I dont understand why so many people go there and like getting ripped off and paying 2-3 times more than what the guns are worth or what they can get them for anywhere else. There is maybe 1-2 fellas in there that are really willing to help customers and treat them with respect. The majority of the rest all have attitudes and act as if you should feel privileged that they are giving you 5 mins of their time to discuss their overpriced inventory of guns and have been this way even before all this panic.

Traders world, atlantic game & tackle, east coast guns are much better to deal with and seem to have better pricing or are at least willing to work with you on pricing and seem to want your business.

Well said Triple Tail.
Inside source told me that Arlen sends his trolls out every morning on ammo hunts just so he can mark up his profits. Smart business man I guess. You are right his prices are way inflated.

fish today work tomorrow

The have always treated me fairly at ATP. In fact, when I had a scope mounted on my black powder rifle (for $11.00) the gunsmith gave me five business cards that each were good for a free range fee.

…and do really think you could make a profit buying ammo from Wal-Mart and marking it up at ATP?

The cost of labor and transportation would be prohibitive on a limit of 3 boxes per customer.

…and how do you know that his markup didn’t go up in a week? why so negative?

BTW, nobody held a gun on me to buy those .22’s at $10

East coast guns is better by far. ATP had a ****ty attitude with me even over the phone so the are verboten as far as I’m concerned.

I have two boxes of 375 rounds of “CCI Tactical” copper plated .22lr i guess its the holy grail of .22lr ill trade for .22 WMR or regular .22lr. . . I didnt realize it when i bought them i shoot bolt action .22lr and dont have any feed issue’s i guess this stuff is awesome in Semi auto .22’s. . .

The price of all the ammo is going up. The suppliers are going up on all ammo and guns for that matter.(supply and demand) The small brick and mortar stores are having to go up to to make it work. If they are lucky enough to have a rep that looks out for them. CCI is producing over a millon rounds a day and still can’t keep up. Once the manufactures catch up the prices will go back to normal. That is if, guys do not buy everything on the shelves at on time. Newly produced .308 hunting ammo is more difficult to get right know than anything. 9mm,40s&w,.45acp-auto,.233rem/.556nato is going to be limited for awhile, maybe into the the summer months. I’m just saying…

Ammo is not going up! I just got 1 box of .270 Silvertip 130 gr for $36…that is last summer’s prices.
