I’ve also got a brick of wolf 22lr, 500 rounds I’ll let go.Price is negotiable, PM me if need some.

I just went through some wolf ammo in the M-1 carbine… i was not impressed.

the local stores don’t have much in stock.

I kind of took this as a joke… YOU CAN’T FIND IT LOCAL!!!

Was in wally world and Nada. Got the last two boxes of 9mm. Only thing they had was some .32 one box of .45, some .242 and just a few other long rifle ammo.

I guess if you limit the ammo, it doesn’t matter how many guns you have.

Ammo isn’t limited. The supply simply cannot keep up with the demand of the panic buyers right now. Nothing on the books at present limits ammo sales. When things get back to normal, buy it along and along, you’ll have plenty to shoot and won’t be subject to scarcity and high prices. Been doing this for years and have plenty of .22LR (10,000 rnds), .17HMR (1500) .223 (6000+), 30’06 (1000+), .308 (2000), .243 (800+) and on and on for everything I shoot. Same principle applies to reloading supplies. Plan ahead and you’ll be fine.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

That is exactly right. People are either panicking or hoarding guns, magazines, and ammo. The Internet is one of the worst things for spreading rumors. There is no need to stock up like the next world war is coming. All this buying is showing the manufacturers, and especially, dealers just how much people are willing to pay. It is screwing things up for all of us in the shooting world. It is like when gas went up to nearly 4 dollars after Katrina hit. Since then, gas has not been reasonable or even close to it. The gas stations and oil companies now know we will pay what they are asking. It is supply and demand in a free market economy.

just heard from a guy who said that his sister-in-law is a procurement officer for the government. She says the government is buying up massive amounts of ammo to dry up the supply. Several different agencies that have money are funding the purchases to get around congressional budgets for this sort of purchase.

Wal-Mart got in 10 boxes of .22 this morning and they lasted 3 minutes. While I was there 6 guys came in looking for ammo. One guy who was a retired Seal says they will control all ammo next by controlling the primers. This was in response to a comment that I had made that I load my own. Just say’n

They’ve said the same thing since the 1980’s. The Gov’t isn’t buying up .22LR in vast quantities nor 30’06. They don’t buy .223 or civilian versions of ammo such as .308 Win. Their ammo is loaded to specific parameters with specific powders and bullets. Just another ill conceived rumor people are spreading.

Yes it is, none of this schitt is going to pass and have any sort of backbone to it. I mean seriously, you think .22LR ammo is going to become extinct and that the Fed Goobermint is buying it all up, for what?

Salty, your contradicting yourself, if supply can not keep up with demand then then it IS limited.

I’ve got you beat on the 30.06 rounds but you’ve got me on all the rest. Found a LOT of armor Piercers in an action. I’ve never bought more than two bricks of .22 in my life. Guess I’ll have to start building my supply while I can af

Yes but it is only limited because of panic buyers who are paranoid and scared that somehow Obama all by himself is going to nullify one of the most fiercely defended and supported freedoms we have. He cannot do it, Feinstien cannot do it, Schumer cannot do it, not separately and not together. In another month or two supplies will return to normal and you’ll be able to buy all the .22lr you want.

Being paranoid has proven itself useful to me. I don’t think Barry can do it by himself, but I do think that it would be something he would like to do. I’m a middle aged man that shot his first .410 @ 5 years old. Never have I seen the panic buyouts of ammo like present day. Paranoia? or a glimpse into the future if liberals stay in office?

“Gun’s don’t kill people, it’s mostly the Bullets”

I’ve been through enough of these scares and episodes to understand that you con collect it a little at a time and you’ll be fine. And it doesn’t hurt that I’m not so much of a main stream sort of shooter. I love my .22lr and .17HMR for plinking and training and I own .223, .308 and 30’06 among many others and load for them. I tend to lean towards the 7mm/.284 caliber for hunting which keeps my bullets available for the most part. The panic buyers are the Joe Commando’s and Paul Prepper’s who think the world is coming to an end and need to buy thousands of rounds to defend hearth and home for the most part.

Now, who wants to buy this 7.62X39 ammo I have left, price is only slightly inflated due to market supplies.

ATP has plenty of 22lr. Limiting purchase to 2 boxes each though.

Thanks for the heads up. Limit is now 1 box per visit @$9.99 per box CCI 100 round nose copper plated.

Wal-Mart had but sold out this morning of Remington 50’s for $2.17 limit 3.

ATP had a pretty good stock of everything, just limits on .22LR and 9mm.
