22 gallon Fuel Tank

I have a used 22 gallon tank for sale. Came out of my Whaler. It is about 6-7 years old. Good solid shape, just some stains and fading. I replaced it for a new white tank for aesthetics.

$40 can be delivered to Charleston or Columbia. Or trade for a decent inshore spinning rod. No reel, just rod.

What are the dimensions?

10% of the people catch 90% of the fish.

Is it an - under -the -seat tank? I have a 17’ and need one. Also, is it a fiberglass like the original?

No, it is not a fiberglass Pate tank. I wouldn’t do that to you, those things fall apart inside.

It is like this one. It may actually be 24 gallon. I can get some actual dimensions this afternoon. But, yes it fit under the seat of a 17 Montauk.

Yeah, my Pate tank just sort of imploded… I have moeller that is a little smaller than yours and the top corners are eaten up… I think from rubbing. In any case, I would like to have the tank. I’m in no particular hurry and can meet you halfway, wherever you are. I am on John’s Island. I have the 17’ Newport, which is the same hull, just different rail and storage design. Mine is old, ugly and beat up… I love it.

PM me your contact info. I should be able to bring it down tomorrow.
