just purchased a newer boat and was wondering if anyone has some what the same setup… its a 2220 KW with yamaha 200ox66 would fuel allow you out to the bluewater and back safe!!! gonna make a few test runs closer in just for my own comfort but, was looking for another opinion thanks?

Install a fuel flow gauge and run a known distance on the ICW. Figure out how many miles you can go on “x” amount of fuel then figure you can count on 60% of that number for the ocean. Different days, currents, tides, wind and sea state will change usage. Keep a log and start finding out the numbers.
