Rolled out of the jetties around 0440 headed toward 226 hole stopped short for a huge weedline in 400ft of water get lines in at 0700. Pick up a nice slinger at 0730 with no other knock downs until 1245. Went all the way out to 1500ft of water which was devoid of life. Went back to the weedline with the rest of the fleet. Picked up another nice slinger at 1245 then hooked up a nice gaffer around 1315 and put him in the box. Then every time we would pass a certain part of the weedline we would hook up with very large bulls only to pull hooks and knots break. Highlight of the day was hook up a very large gaffer on the short rigger, then the man in the blue suit grabs the wwtfb and is gone after one leap out of the water and a good head shake. Hell of a nice weedline out there, and very similar to the one that was out SE of 226 hole 2 weeks ago.

All said was a good day for a bunch of rookies. Gotta go to Savannah all next week will be at it next Saturday and Sunday.

Buddy of mine out of Wadmalaw caught one today and lost another. Released fish was 175 -200 they said.

The knot didn’t break on the blue he spit the hook on the jump, however the knot did break on the last dolphin we hooked up…Ricky no on was cussing you, because if I was you would have the holy of GFY 's rain down on you on the phone yesterday.
