Left Friday night at 6pm, got to the edisto banks late, lines in at 5am trolled out to the 226 hole water temp was 76, lots of flyers, weed and a trail of garbage, everything looked perfect however not a single knock down all day. Trolled back to the ledge and headed north,still nothing biting. Saw two Manta’s, lots of giant hawk bill’s, one had a sea gull siting on its back! Flat calm, 40 knots on our return. Great trip though, lets hope the fish show up soon! Boat ran great, good shake down trip.
Sucks about the zero knockdowns…so it took you eleven hours to get to the trollong grounds? I hope I missed something…

We spent the night at the edisto banks, arrived there around 10pm. Nice ride out slow. We weren’t in any hurray. 69 at the banks.
