Headed out on the 33 contender aka poledancer to the 226 hole 5/25/14. Going out was choppy but the contender handled great and we had lines in the water quick. Trolled around 30 minutes without getting a bite until we got on a nice weed line. As soon as we got there a blue around 300 pounds thrashed through the weed line chasing a little dolphin. Didn’t hook up with him, but it was awesome to see. Around 15 minutes after we had a 25-30 pound phin in the box. Then it was one after the other with a couple double hook ups for about an hour. Got really slow after that until around 2:00 when we put the smack down on them again. Got some great gaff practice haha! All fish were decent size with the exception of a few. Made a video for those non believers. Please go check it out!!! https://vimeo.com/m/96647579

Nice video thanks
Nice videos. Looks like a few tired arms, but a lot of fun
Nice boat and fish. We were around the 380 which did not produce nearly as many fish for us Sunday. Thanks for the video.
I gotcha, we were debating on the 380 or the 226 when we looked at terafin where the water was.
thanks for sharing… nice catch for sure…

Appreciate it ! I’m gonna make a video for each one of my offshore reports from now on
Nice video, but I don’t think you gotta worry about nonbelievers saying you didn’t catch mahis in may! They’re everywhere!!!
I got a question, though. Why slam the lid closed on your leaders like that. Ain’t nothing to pull the hooks out first, not like its a cobia n gonna tear up you’re boat!!!
Apparently not many people did that great at the 226 on Sunday, with the exception of a few boats.
BLuewater–they were probably trying to avoid a nut shot from a dolphin tail…

LOL we have some nut shot footage from last week…followed by a sweet arm slap that left a bruise. I admire the large fish box. Great job on gettin em in the box quickly.
It ain’t no mystery…this beer’s history!
Haha we had around a 25 pound bull that managed to get off the gaff in the boat before we closed the box on him and I still have bruises from!
Nice.
