I saw a 22’ pontoon almost pitch pole trying to get into Steinhatchee, Fla. last summer. A thunderstorm came up and lots of boats were making a run for the river. Not a pretty sight, most of those on board went flying off the bow and landed in the water. The wave they hit was boat traffic generated and about 2’ to 3’ high.
