After 10 months of some serious hard work, she’s finally done. Well except for the hardtop i’ll be puting on this month.
The boat had been sitting in a lake in Tenn for over 20 years. The gelcoat had blistered and cracked beyond repair. The motors had been locked up for the last 8 yrs and had to be repowered. I must say she turned out pretty sweet. Next time I think I’ll just drop it off somewhere and pick it up when it’s done!!!LOL Really tho, a true labor of love. Proud to have done it all myself. Thanks to Bobby at G crafts for the fairing and paint work. He does awesome work!!!
Also many thanks to Bob Van Gundy at Marine Design! The man knows his stuff and is more than fair on his prices!!!

Monty,
Cool rig. That boat has great lines and will be a real billfish catching machine. Looks like you put quite alot of effort into resurrecting her. Nicely done! Give me a buzz sometime when you are looking for another fisherman.

Thanks guys. Almost everything I needed for the boat from tranny temp sensors to the new motors I found on Ebay. The LED’s are Briter Innovations Canyon lights 850 lumins ea. The pics of the sea trial was at Bushy park FWSide. Black water! They light up to about 100’ behind the boat in clear water. Will be great for night fishing.
Catch’m up!

I really like the LEDs but why in the world do they cost so much?? $600 for a light seems VERY high but everyone is selling them for that some much more. I just don’t get it. You can buy the top of the line tranducer for that.
If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you’ve got an electrical problem.
